Assert AI transformed the existing CCTV network into a multi-layered intelligence system. Inside each store, AI measured footfall patterns, dwell time, queue buildup, customer churn, table occupancy, counter responsiveness, and service flow. In the drive thru, every vehicle was captured, tagged, timed, and matched with a POS bill through ANPR. This revealed something that had never been visible before: unbilled vehicles, often caused by system slowdowns or peak-hour lapses. Dining areas, often under-analysed, became transparent. AI mapped seating behaviour, peak turnover hours, and high-pressure zones. Kitchens gained visibility too with unattended preparation counters and dress-code noncompliance that were automatically detected. Every operational detail previously reliant on staff observation became a continuous data stream.
